Activate your email and online accounts to register for classes, view your course schedule, communicate with your professors, and pay your bills.

Solutions

  • UMB E-Mail: Your campus user ID and email address will be sent to the personal email you provided, or mailed to your home address. You’ll need to sign into the account claiming page listed, and set up your password and security question. After that, you should be good to go! Log in at umb.edu/webmail regularly, as it is the main way you will be communicated with.
  • WISER: Wiser is the platform you will use to register for classes, view your schedule, contact your advisor and more. You’ll log in to this system with your UMB email username and password. You’ll learn how to use it during orientation, but you can always reference the 
  •  This is where you’ll access your class syllabi, assignments, discussion boards, grades, and online library resources. You’ll log in to this system with your UMB email username and password.
  • UMass Boston App: The official mobile app for UMass Boston. Track the campus shuttle, find out what dining options are open, log into WISER and Blackboard, and sign up for emergency alerts.
  • Here4u: is a space for you to communicate any questions, concerns, incidents, or feedback to the university. Get connected with the resources you may need, and the staff on campus that can help.
  • : is the mobile version of UMBeInvolved. Log in with your UMB email credentials and you’ll find a calendar of events hosted by our student organizations, and a list of our student organizations. Add events to your phone’s calendar, and request to join clubs with a quick tap!

  • One Stop: The One Stop is where you’ll go when you need to talk to someone about financial aid, tuition bills, changing your major, and more.
  • Registrar's Office: Whether you take one course or a full-time course load, the Registrar’s office keeps track of your progress by recording your courses and grades and updating your transcripts.
  • Financial Aid Services: Confused by your tuition bill? Have questions about the FAFSA? Looking for scholarship opportunities? Financial Aid Services can help.
  • Bursar's Office: This is the office that handles your student account. You will have the option to grant or remove access to others (i.e., parents/guardians who may be helping pay your bill) at any time. Set up direct deposit with the Bursar and get your refunds quickly!
