Mathematica for Students Instructions
Mathematica is a software package which is ideal for communicating scientific ideas, whether this is visualization of a concept in an intro-level course, or creating a simulation of a new idea related to research. How to Get Mathematica
1) Visit to request Mathematica.
2) Register (when asked) using your umb.edu email.
3) Click "Get Mathematica|Desktop" or "Get Mathematica Online."
4) During the download process, when prompted, click "Activate through your organization's SSO."
5) Follow on-screen prompts to authenticate.
Tutorials to Learn Mathematica
The first two tutorials are excellent for new users, and can be assigned to students to learn Mathematica outside of class time.
