UMass Boston Online Programs rank among the nation鈥檚 best, according to U.S. News
UMass Boston鈥檚 online bachelor鈥檚 degree and online graduate programs, including the MBA and master鈥檚 in education, were listed among the nation鈥檚 best in the U.S. News and World Report Best Online Programs rankings, released today.
Most notable among the rankings was the university鈥檚 online bachelor鈥檚 degree, which jumped 54 spots.
The new top 100 rankings include:
- Online bachelor鈥檚 鈥� No. 39, up from No. 93
- Online Master鈥檚 in business (non-MBA) 鈥� No. 38
- Online MBA 鈥� No. 105
- Online MBA for veterans 鈥� No. 89
- Online Master鈥檚 in education 鈥� No. 77

U.S. News and World Report conducts online program rankings annually, and they are based on indicators such as student services and technology, faculty credentials, and student engagement, using data collected directly from each institution. The programs that score the highest are those applying educational best practices specific for distance learners.
