Shannon Hogan joined Urban Harbors institute in November 2021. Previously, she was an intern for UHI helping to conduct a feasibility study at Columbia Point during the spring of 2021. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, specifically regarding water resources, and a minor in Chemistry at the University of Vermont. She is currently working to finish her master’s degree in Marine Science and Technology from the 天美传媒, researching anthropogenic pollution in marine ecosystems. Shannon has experience in science education/outreach, field and lab experimentation, analytical writing, and project management. Currently, at UHI, she is helping to coordinate a conference for the National Working Waterfront Network and oversee the internship program.
